Wreaths Across America 2022

It’s that time of year again and Raymond “Joe” Brooks (Animal) is doing what he says he has in his blood – driving truck and as he said last year, “That trailer right there – doing this is one of the best things that I have been doing.” This was is 5th year delivering for Wreaths Across America (WAA). Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, volunteers coordinate wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 3,400 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad. This year Animal delivered to Lawrence, Kansas. On December 17, 2022 at 11:00 am, the Lawrence Composite Squadron KS-061 Civil Air Patrol (KS0018P) will be helping Oak Hill Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud. The Hill Bros. family is deeply honored to assist WAA in this wonderful holiday tradition.

Food Drive Success!

In the spirit of the holidays we did a food and donation drive for Heartland Hope Mission. As an incentive, the company got lunch served if we reached 500 items, but if we reached 1000 Al and Rob got a pie in the face! Well, we got over 1500 items so ….
Lisa Kent-Scheer (Logisitcs) and Austin Weigman (Shop) were chosen for the honors. (More pics on Facebook)
